The company’s technology supports pulp input from both rolls and from sheets or bales, giving manufacturers greater freedom in sourcing.

By working directly with sheets and bales, material costs are normally cheaper compared to traditional roll pulp. At the same time, this approach avoids the energy- and water intensive processing required to produce roll pulp, supporting lower CO₂ emissions and more efficient use of resources. This flexibility allows manufacturers to reduce dependency on specific suppliers and respond more effectively to fluctuations in availability and pricing.

In addition to pulp flexibility, Campen has expanded its equipment to handle a wide range of waste streams, including textile waste, trim and production waste. This makes it possible to reuse materials such as textile fibres, floor carpet, waste stream from hygiene and packaging production as input in airlaid production.
