MS Ultrasonic Presents New Generation of Ultrasonic Inline Welding
Adhesive-free technology featured at booth 2359
MS Ultrasonic, Binder and Andritz present at the INDEX fair a pioneering adhesive-free technology that eliminates the need for traditional gluing methods, resulting in a soft and flexible fastening solution that enhances both cost efficiency and sustainability.
The new in-line welding technology makes it possible to produce a closure system without adhesives or glues. Thanks to the latest ultrasonic welding technology, a particularly soft closure is achieved, which also reduces production costs and simplifies processing. This sustainable solution is an efficient alternative to conventional glueing methods and optimises both wearing comfort and cost-efficiency.
The new technology eliminates:
- direct costs of glues / adhesives
- cost of modifying fastener tape for adhesive compatibility
- costs in stored “expired” products
- complex components
- need for glue clean-up
More efficiency through reduced:
- energy costs
- waste disposal costs
- use of Binder’s fastener
- logistics costs / warehousing
- production losses (unit yield / day)
- risk of glove tears in use
This innovative, adhesive-free attachment method aligns with global sustainability goals while simultaneously streamlining manufacturing processes. The partnership between Binder, MS Ultrasonic and Andritz sets a new standard in fastener technology, offering an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to conventional adhesive-based solutions. MS Ultrasonic (booth 2359) is the ultrasonic welding equipment manufacturer, Binder (booth 2622) is the technology holder and fastening tape provider and Andritz (booth 2114) is the designer and manufacturer of personal care machinery and integrator of the ultrasonic welding unit in both, new equipment and retrofit.
