Established in 2015, Yi Ting Non-Woven Co., Ltd. was founded by Hui-Xiong Li, who had an extensive background in the rubber and plastics industry. Today, the company focuses on the research, development and production of environmentally friendly nonwovens.

In addition to manufacturing a range of nonwoven materials, including spunbond and thermal bond fabrics, the company also provides contract manufacturing and sales of related finished products.

Yi Ting’s proprietary brands include Sofära and Pure.F. Sofära supplies adult and children’s masks, while Pure.F specializes in filtration materials for food and beverage applications.

In January, the company announced a major capacity expansion to support rising demand from customers in Europe and North America. The upgrade strengthens the company’s ability to scale biodegradable PLA-blend filtration materials for the coffee, tea and industrial markets. As an OEM/ODM partner, Yi Ting expects the expansion to reduce development-to-mass-production lead times by up to 30% for global Tier 1 brands focused on ESG mandates.

The expansion includes increased output for coffee and tea filtration materials, higher automation to improve pore distribution and bonding strength, and expanded clean-processing lines for food-contact applications. Yi Ting has also added dedicated production capacity to support large-scale international OEM programs.

“The shift to high-performance, verifiable sustainable materials is no longer a trend—it’s an industry requirement,” says Kasley Lee, CEO of Yi Ting. “Global OEM clients are demanding transparency and functionality without compromise. Our focus is precisely on closing that gap, providing precision materials whether it’s the 40-micron filtration required for coffee or the certified biodegradability needed for advanced tea packaging.”

Yi Ting’s filtration platform is anchored by its Pure.F multilayer nonwoven technology. This engineering design ensures superior performance consistency, enabling the material to maintain a precisely consistent 40-micron cutoff point.

The company’s expanded capabilities include high-performance materials optimized for both cone-shaped and V-shaped coffee filters, as well as hydrophobic coffee filter grades engineered for controlled fluid flow and aroma preservation.

As part of the upgrade, Yi Ting has incorporated equipment enhancements that reduce energy consumption and improve materials traceability, which helps meet tightening regulatory requirements in Europe, North America and Japan.

In addition to coffee filtration, the company’s expanded production lines support a wide range of fast-growing applications. In tea and food packaging, Yi Ting offers options that support advanced packaging methods, including ultrasonic bonding and certified biodegradable substrates. These solutions include materials for heat sealable tea bags and are increasingly used in reusable spice bags for cooking applications.

In agriculture, lightweight, breathable nonwoven fabrics used for frost protection, pest control and moisture management support more sustainable farming with reduced pesticide reliance.

Additionally, Yi Ting’s polypropylene spunbond nonwovens provide solutions for medical and hygiene sectors, ranging from protective surgical components to high-purity hygiene substrates.

“Our capacity doubling and strategic expansion into North America and Europe is more than just growth—it is our definitive commitment to becoming the most trusted, Asia-based supply chain alternative in sustainable filtration,” Lee says. “We are ensuring that our global OEM partners can meet tightening regulatory and ESG demands without compromising on material precision, translating our environmental responsibility directly into a core competitive advantage.”
