In 2024, NBOND, a Chinese manufacturer of spunlaced nonwovens primarily for wipes, reported solid financial performance, with revenues increasing by 16.8% and net income rising by 15.2% over the previous year. The company operates 12 advanced production lines for spunlace nonwovens, including a dedicated research and development line.

This success was attributed to several factors. In 2024 and early 2025, NBOND actively expanded its private label business, particularly its Little Plant Family brand, which gained traction through its official flagship store on Xiaohongshu. This shows that NBOND has successfully marketed and a grown its consumer base for its wet toilet paper, wipes and other products. Additionally, the company has secured major customers like Sam’s Club for its subsidiary, Hangzhou Guoguang Tourism Supplies Co., Ltd. While sales to Chinese retailer Pang Donglai were small in 2024, they were still ongoing, suggesting a broadening customer portfolio.

NBOND’s spunlace materials and products are mainly used in four key areas—beauty and personal care, industrial materials, household cleaning and the medical market. Throughout all of these product lines, the company has made environmental sustainability a priority in its product development. It offers both biodegradable materials and flushable products.

In 2023, NBOND formed a partnership with Lenzing to accelerate the innovation and application of Lenzing’s wood-based Veocel branded lyocell fibers in flushable nonwovens products, including moist toilet tissues, feminine hygiene products and other personal hygiene product offerings. NBOND, one of the earliest manufacturers to launch flushable feminine care products globally, is also the first to use Veocel fibers in flushable feminine care products.

Since then, NBOND has become a globally recognized nonwovens value chain partner. Its flushable products have been introduced in the U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific and more. In China and the Asia-Pacific region, in particular, NBOND has collaborated with mainstream household brands such as Kimberly-Clark, Vinda and BabyCare on flushable products.
