Trutzschler Presents Technology for Air Through Bonded Nonwovens
Ability to process low denier fibers leads to extreme softness
Trutzschler is promoting its NC-X card, which is the only card on the market capable of producing fibers down to 0.6 denier, which is resulting in an extremely soft air-through bonded nonwoven for baby care applications. The technology is redefining softness for delicate skin and features an extremely gentle fiber opening.
The cards of the X-Series can be universally used in inline and crosslapper configurations. End products range from hydroentangled wipes and lightweight through-air bonded hygiene nonwovens to heavy high-loft nonwovens for insulation materials and needlepunchd technical nonwovens.
The technology can produce air-through bonded nonwovens in widths up to 4.2 meters wide.
