Ultra fine fiber material offers ultimate softness for hygiene products
Months after completing the installation of a dual-carding air-through nonwovens line, Wisdom-Greentech Company has produced and launched the world’s first 0.4D (denier) air-through carded nonwoven material. Enhanced by Wisdom-Greentech’s research and development and productivity capabilities in ultra-fine denier air-through carded nonwovens technology, the launch represents another new era for ultra-fine denier air-through carded nonwovens providing superior softness. It follows Wisdom-Greentech’s launch of 0.8D material in 2021 and 0.6D material in 2024, which made Wisdom-Greentech one of the top producers air-through carded nonwovens in the world.
The 0.4D material is the only ATB nonwovens in the world using 0.4 grams per 9000 meters of length, which is thinner than two-thirds of the diameter of silk to offer an ultimate improvement in softness. Nonwovens this super lightweight and thin are typically challenging to card, but Wisdom-Greentech’s technical team used its years of experience in carding ultra-fine denier fibers to successfully card and commericalize the 0.4D materials. Hygiene products, especially diapers and sanitary napkins made with this material, offer the ultimate softness.
With innovation at its core, Wisdom-Greentech will continue to upgrade its air-through carded nonwoven with ultra-fine fiber carding to lead the market with softness for the customer and the consumer. Â
