Here’s your weekly recap—the most-viewed news stories on our site for the week ended February 7, 2026.

Hygiene and health company Essity has completed the acquisition of Edgewell Personal Care’s feminine care business, including the Carefree, Stayfree and o.b. brands in North America and global feminine care rights for the Playtex brand. The purchase price for the assets amounts to $340 million (approximately SEK 3 billion) on a cash and debt-free basis. The acquisition supports Essity’s strategy to focus on high-margin categories and to grow market positions in the U.S., the world’s largest hygiene market.

Meanwhile, Ontex Group NV has introduced a new adult incontinence range developed to offer superior protection while being gentle on the skin. The first products – Sensitive Pants, Sensitive Slip and Sensitive Form – will gradually become available at healthcare institutions across Europe.
