Or-Tex combines activities of two nonwovens producers

As part of a corporate reorganization project, Texol Srl, based in Alanno Scalo (PE, Italy) and the Orsa Group, based in Gorla Minore (VA, Italy) have formed a new entity, Or-Tex Srl.
Under the terms of the agreement, Texol Srl has sold all its OR.MA. Srl shares and the Orma Group has sold 100% of its share in Orsa Nonwoven shares to Or-Tex
The Or-Tex Srl is co-owned 50/50 by Texol Srl and Orsa Group Srl.
This merger represents a great opportunity for both groups to enhance their production capacity, offer customers a more comprehensive product portfolio and establish valuable synergies to improve every aspect of the business, from production to quality, right down to customer relations.
This is a major step with a strong industrial spirit and vision, showing commitment and belief in the growth of the market and the possibility of supplying hi-performing, technical, sustainable, 100% Made in Italy products.
Orsa was founded in 1963 in Gorla Minore, to produce polyurethane and began making needlepunched nonwovens in the 1970s and spunlaced nonwovens in 1989. In the beginning of the nineties Orsa entered the automotive field as producer of materials for car interior, acquiring the Orsa Automotive in the North of Italy and establishing operations in Poland and South Italy. Now, the group is present in multiple segments, including dedicated production in different manufacturing units in both Italy and abroad, organized in an integrated and interconnected
