Deal expands reach into nonwoven geotextiles market in India

Strata Geosystems has acquired India-based Venus Interlinings, a manufacturer of advanced nonwoven geotextiles and technical textiles, marking its entry into the nonwoven geotextiles segment. The transaction significantly enhances Strata’s product portfolio and strengthens its vertically integrated capabilities and includes a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, expanded technical expertise and additional capacity to accelerate innovation across geosynthetic and engineered textile solutions.
Founded in 1995 by R.R. Taparia, Venus Interlinings has established a reputation for quality, reliability and long-standing relationships with major industry clients, government contractors, and export houses.
Since 2008, Ravi Taparia has led the company’s transformation, introducing advanced processes and modern technologies while expanding product capabilities to meet evolving market demands. Under his leadership, Venus Interlinings has achieved sustained growth, strengthened operational excellence and built a future-ready organization.
The transaction includes a mix of cash and equity. will continue to lead Venus Interlinings, ensuring continuity in leadership, culture, and strategic direction.
