Shalag and A.Celli are continuing their partnership, which dates back to 2014, with the upgrade of a spooling line to improve both performance and safety. The spooling equipment, supplied by A.Celli, is dedicated to processing air-through bonded nonwovens and requires an increase in performance and enhanced safety standards. The main modifications include layout upgrade, the implementation of a new software package with advanced control features and the updating of safety devices. Once completed, the upgraded line will be installed at the Shalag facility, with commissioning planned for summer 2026.

The offering is further expanded through Noam Urim, Shalag’s subsidiary, which manufactures needlepunched nonwovens up to 2000 gsm. Shalag collaborates with customers in the development of materials designed to meet specific performance, innovation and sustainability requirements.
