The stitchbonded nonwoven is engineered to comply with the upcoming 2026 New York flammability requirements and California’s AB2998 chemical restrictions. The next-generation bottom-panel barrier, part of the company’s Endure product line, withstands the extreme pressure of roll-packed mattress manufacturing while delivering elevated fire resistance to help its customers succeed in a fast-paced market.

The patent-pending LCP-Fortified Filler Cloth represents a major advancement in FR barrier technology for the mattress industry. It is engineered with a proprietary blend of high-performance fibers and a specialized char-forming finish, explicitly designed to withstand the demands and mechanical stress of hybrid roll-packed mattress constructions while maintaining structure and heat stability under extreme compression.

Designed for roll-packed mattresses, the filler cloth delivers exceptional tensile and tear strength, capable of withstanding the torque generated by compressed, rolled and boxed pocket coil hybrid mattresses. Its char shield combines LCP fibers and a micro-clay coating to form a dense, crack-free char layer that prevents molten foam from dripping through, keeping peak heat release under 200 kW in 16 CFR 1633 testing. Additionally, the material exhibits low thermal shrinkage, ensuring bottom seams remain intact after heat exposure.
