Certification process measures several impact areas surrounding customers, employees and the environment

Peachies, the premium diaper brand for contemporary parents, has become a Certified B Corporation. Peachies joins over 7000 Certified B Corporations in over 90 countries, across 160+ industries, which form a global community of businesses committed to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility. To receive this certification, Peachies underwent a rigorous assessment administered by B Lab which measures and verifies several impact areas, including the environment, customers, community, and employees. To meet the performance requirement, a company must earn a minimum, verified score of 80 points on the B Impact Assessment, which examines a company’s overall impact on its workers, community, customers, and environment. Unlike traditional corporations, B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders: customers, workers, communities, and the environment. “Since launching Peachies, we have built with the purpose to positively impact our community. From suppliers and employees to the parents who use our product, we are driven by our mission to make parenthood the most joyful life chapter, and that ethos includes working towards a clear set of goals that are kinder to our planet and society. With its rigor and attention to detail, B Corp certification was simply a natural next step for us,” says Suppan. Launched in 2023 by Morgan Mixon and Rima Suppan, Peachies has engineered a super soft upgrade to the humble diaper with unrivalled absorbency, next-level liquid capacity and no harmful chemicals, dyes or fragrances. It’s all part of their mission to make parenthood the most joyful chapter in life. Peachies also fundraises in support of Save the Children to make sure children in the UK and around the world keep safe, healthy and learning. The B Corp community aligns with Peachies’ founding values to be kinder to the planet and lift up their community with their premium materials selection, enhanced product design and Nappy Concierge service modelled on luxury hospitality. Parents are Peachies’ protagonists so their philosophy is to radically improve the nappy changing experience and unlock new benefits for parents, such as fewer changes in a day whilst keeping baby dry and comfortable. The European Union’s climate innovation organization (Climate KIC) verified that Peachies could save up to the equivalent of 93 tonnes of CO2 for every 1,000 babies that wear Peachies nappies. That’s the weight of 17 elephants. “Our B Corp accreditation is a testament to the hard work our team puts in to achieve the high standards we collectively set for our business. We strive to offer families thoughtful solutions throughout their journey with us because today’s nappy wranglers understandably want to shop from considerate brands, many of which are B Corp certified,” Mixon adds.
