New Owners For Enka Tecnica

Fi-Tech, Inc. and Uwe Gaedike, the current managing director of Oerlikon Enka Tecnica, have formed a joint venture company, Uwe Gaedike Beteiligung GmbH, which has successfully completed the purchase of Oerlikon Enka Tecnica GmbH. Mr. Gaedike will continue as managing director of the new company, Enka Tecnica GmbH, headquartered in Groebzig (Saxony-Anhalt), Germany.


Enka Tecnica will retain all employees and operate from two manufacturing sites in Ubach-Palenberg and Groebzig, Germany. The company is a world leader in the precision manufacturing of spinnerets for the synthetic fiber and nonwoven fabric industries as well as precision micro components for other markets. The company’s product line includes spinnerets for aramid, acetate, polyester, polypropylene, and nylon fibers as well as spunbond, meltblown and hydroentangled nonwovens.
