Turkish nonwovens manufacturer Mogul has launched Metaint, a breakthrough in microfilament spunbond technology.

Crafted from 100% PET spunbond, Metaint achieves a filament fineness of 0.8–0.9 micro denier. This ultra-fine microdenier structure is a rarity in the global market, offering a level of uniformity and surface smoothness that traditional materials simply cannot match.

By evolving beyond traditional needlepunch and carded methods, Metaint provides a sophisticated alternative for high-stakes industries, delivering high strength at low weight through superior tensile properties that allow for significant material reduction without sacrificing integrity; precision filtration through a controlled pore structure that makes it the ideal support layer for RO, UF and NF membranes; and industrial durability as a lightweight, washable material that is more efficient than conventional nonwovens.

Available in weights from 35–200 gsm, Metaint is designed for sectors where failure is not an option. In filtration, the materials have exceptional dimensional stability for critical separation tasks; in automotive, Metaint offers non-abrasive protection and acoustic insulation that aids in vehicle weight reduction; and for cleanroom and medical, the material features low-linting performance and proven biocompatibility for sensitive environments.
