Camfil has acquired Bioconservación (Bion), a Spain-based provider of air filtration solutions and adsorbents serving industrial and commercial customers. The acquisition expands Camfil’s Molecular Contamination Control (MCC) division.

The addition of Bion brings complementary expertise, technologies and customer relationships to Camfil’s MCC activities. This will help Camfil support customers who require advanced solutions for controlling molecular contaminants in critical environments.

As part of the transaction, Bion will become part of Camfil Spain and Camfil’s global Molecular Contamination Control organization. This will allow Bion’s team to work closely with Camfil’s MCC specialists locally and globally while continuing to support customers and develop technical solutions.

“Bion is a strong strategic fit for Camfil’s Molecular Contamination Control business and strengthens our position in key markets,” says Guillaume Gallet, president of the MCC division at Camfil. “They bring valuable expertise and experience, and we are pleased to welcome their team to Camfil.”
