An absorbent article, comprising: a bodyside liner having an air permeability no less than thirteen thousand cubic meters per hour per square meter surface and no greater than sixteen thousand, five hundred cubic meters per hour per square meter surface, wherein the bodyside liner comprises a nonwoven web of surfactant treated hydrophilic fibers; an absorbent core comprising a matrix of cellulosic fluff and superabsorbent material, the superabsorbent material present in the matrix at no less than fifty percent by weight of the matrix and no greater than eighty percent by weight of the matrix; and an acquisition layer positioned between the bodyside liner and the absorbent core, the acquisition layer having an air permeability no less than twelve thousand, seven hundred cubic meters per hour per square meter surface.
