Investment offers higher capacity, increased efficiency and continued quality
Wisdom-Greentech and Trützschler have officially signed an agreement to jointly develop the world’s first ultra-high speed 4.2m air-through bonding line. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Wisdom-Greentech has set a new industry benchmark, representing another milestone in its deep collaboration with Trützschler in the field of air-through nonwovens.
The ultra-high speed 4.2m air-through bonding line features a carding working width of 4.2 meters and a design speed of 200 m/min. It will be Wisdom-Greentech’s 14th Trützschler air-through bonding line. Integrating cutting-edge technologies from both Chinese and German expertise in mechanical design, process control and air-through nonwovens, this line delivers a dual leap forward in both production capacity and product quality.
This investment double the production capacity compared with conventional 2.5- and 3 meter lines and offers significantly higher production efficiency and lower unit costs while maintaining high product quality, compared with traditional 4.2m lines – substantially enhancing product competitiveness. The line is capable of stable operation at 200 m/min, marking a new era of higher efficiency, lower cost, and superior quality for the high-end baby and maternal care industry.
Wisdom-Greentech has consistently achieved industry “world firsts” in recent years including:
– World’s first 3.8m convertible single/double carded air-through bonding line with back-to-back dual cards (2022)
– World’s first 3.8m dual-card air-through bonding line with advanced intermediate blending system (2024)
– World’s first 4.2m dual-card air-through bonding line (2025)
