An attachment device configured to be attached on an absorbent article that is provided with at least two conductive lines along its length, wherein the attachment device comprises two contact surfaces that contact respectively the inner and outer sides of the absorbent article when the attachment device is attached on the absorbent article, and wherein the attachment device is provided with a pad on each of its contact surfaces that is configured to be coupled to the conductive lines in the absorbent article.
