Kimberly-Clark Begins Chinese Investment

Nanjing expansion will increase baby diaper, fem care production

Kimberly-Clark has broken ground on phase three of its expansion project in Nanjing, China. The latest stage of this investment, in the Jiangning Development Zone, should add 27,000 square feet of manufacturing space dedicated to the production of baby diapers and feminine hygiene products. Construction should be complete by September and manufacturing should begin in February 2026.

K-C’s existing two sites in Najing produce a reported 4.5 billion pieces of baby diapers and fem care items per year.
